Why Join the Chamber

Membership in the Phillips Area Chamber of Commerce is important to the future of your business community and our community. The Chamber’s mission is to promote and enhance our business community, and, as a non-profit organization, we can’t do it without your support.

Your brochures, business cards or other information are displayed in our Visitor Center which has nearly 2,750 visitors and receives more than 2,000 phone calls each year.

Your Business will be listed on this our Website—where we get thousands of visits per week— that means our pages, including member pages, websites and Facebook pages, receive thousands of clicks per week. As a Phillips Area Chamber of Commerce Member, you will have the opportunity to place your event on our Marquee Sign and billboards/

Your business information will be included in our annual Phillips Area Visitors Guide directory and you will be entitled to advertise in the Guide at a reduced rate. Over 30,000 copies are distributed at our Chamber office, regional and state tourist information centers, sport shows, and area businesses. Additional copies are sent to prospective visitors by mail.

We also work closely with the Czech-Slovak Community Festival, Girls’ Night Out and other local events.

Your participation in Chamber events brings attention to your business and enables you to network with others in the business community. Chamber events bring many visitors to the area. Our members support each other!

Your dues also enable us to aggressively market the Phillips area and our special events in additional ways including Facebook, press releases, public appearances, and sport shows. We also purchase advertising in print media, radio and television.

As a member, you can participate in our Chamber Dollars program by accepting Chamber Dollars in your business. Our program is very successful and bring increased sales to many of our members.

And, as a member, you’ll be invited to attend our Annual Chamber Banquet and other social events including our “Business After 5” get-togethers.
