The Fourth of July in Phillips, Wisconsin is always a fun time. During the Fourth of July, different organizations plan events alongside the PACC Team to create a very fun and eventful weekend/week. To start the festivities, Kennan Fire Department organizes one of the area’s largest Truck/Tractor Pulls. The Phillips Lions Club host the Spirit of America 5K Fun Run that winds through the streets of Phillips. Strong Families and Strong Kids of Price County organizes Music in the Park, kicking off right around the 4th of July. The Price County PRCA Rodeo is always scheduled to take the arena the weekend closest to the 4th of July. Along with these amazing events, the PACC organizes an Art/Craft Fair that takes place in Elk Lake Park! Local vendors from all over the Northwoods come together to show off their amazing crafts or items for sale. You will also find local food vendors displaying their talent in some delicious food! On July 4th at 2:00 PM the community of Phillips comes together along Hwy 13 to watch the iconic 4th of July Parade! From firetrucks to tractors and even horses too, the Phillips 4h of July Parade is one you will not forget. In the evening of the 4th, join us at Elk Lake Park with the whole family to enjoy some more local food, and a DJ to rock into the night leading up to the spectacular firework display across Elk Lake. The fireworks are a perfect conclusion to a fun jam packed weekend/week in Phillips!
